We are very excited to have you become an active member of our expanding community of Fellows and Friends as well as one of our contacts. To that end, we as an organization are building a robust community that has the power to effect the legacy and ongoing importance of Organic Architecture. We need and desire your ideas, energy and enthusiasm. We hope that you will find added value to your past and future experiences as a member and friend of the Taliesin Fellowship and The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. Contribution and Membership Options:
1. Current Student of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture Membership: Free
Join the Taliesin Fellows as a current student of The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.
2. “AIAS” Membership: $25 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as a current member of The American Institute of Architects – Student Chapters. Open to any students in national or international schools of architecture and design.
3. Taliesin “Graduate” Membership: 35$
Join the Taliesin Fellows as a recent graduate of The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. (Individuals must have graduated within 5 years)
4. Taliesin “Fellow” Membership: $65 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as an alumnus of the Taliesin Fellowship or The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. If you wish to be an active “Leader” of the Taliesin Fellows board of directors, see the “Leader” category below and participate on active officer lead committees.
5. Taliesin Fellows “Supporter” Membership: $75 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as a member of the general public interested in the work of the Fellows and Organic Architecture. Participate on sponsored projects and events lead by the Taliesin Fellows throughout the year at Taliesin and Taliesin West.
6. Taliesin Fellows “Leader” Membership: $100 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as an alumnus of the Taliesin Fellowship or The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and participate as an officer or on officer lead committees. Note: If you did not graduate from the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture but wish to be a “leader” member of the Fellows, you may contact the board of directors with a letter of interest requesting consideration to be an active member. This option is highly encouraged for individuals from the general public.
7. Taliesin Fellows “Sustainer” Membership: $250 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as an individual that puts a premium on the work of the Fellows in its effort to promote Organic Architecture. Participate on projects and designate your contribution to specific projects and initiatives sponsored by the work of the Fellows such on publications, historic preservation, design outreach, or student scholarships, etc. Becoming a sustaining member also makes you eligible to be a “leader” within the Taliesin Fellows Organization. (See requirements for becoming a “Leader”- Option 6)
8. Taliesin Fellows “Patron” Membership: $500 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as an individual that puts a premium on the work of the Fellows in its effort to promote Organic Architecture. As a “patron” you may suggest a new project or initiative that your contributions would help spearhead. In this way, your contributions may be targeted within a specific area of interest or expertise that you have, such as in sustainable design, research for journal and article publications, or student sponsored activities – just to name a few ideas. Becoming a patron also makes you eligible to be a “leader” within the Taliesin Fellows Organization. (See requirements for becoming a “Leader”- Option 6)
9. Taliesin Fellows “Benefactor” Membership: $2500 annually
Join the Taliesin Fellows as an individual that wants to help guide the common vision of the Fellows in its effort to promote Organic Architecture. As a “Benefactor” your contributions are critical to the long term legacy of the Fellows. In this way you may be part of a special advisory committee that is targeting the strategic planning and long term work of the Fellows and supporting the Organization in its mission. This mission is deeply connected with the traditions and history of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and Organic Architecture. What is the future of this legacy? That is a question that your support and contribution can help answer.
Membership in the above categories includes:
-The award winning Taliesin Fellows Journal
-Access to the Taliesin Fellows tri-annual open board meetings held either at Taliesin and Taliesin West
-Access to special events, a unique and diverse architectural community, and a broad range of projects and initiatives.
